Teradek Features New Products for Live Production at NAB 2015

Teradek has new products that will help you take your live production to the next level. Check them out at NAB 2015 to learn how you can turn your live production into a professional broadcast. Their new products include the VidiU Mini, the Live:Air iPad Production Studio, and the VidiU Pro.

The VidiU Mini is compatible with most streaming services, including Ustream, Livestream and YouTube. It is the wireless source for Teradek’s Live:Air iPad Production suite.

The VidiU Mini lets you add graphics, overlay text, or curate a professional live production. The VidiU Mini’s Teradek Streaming option lets you turn your GoPro, DSLR, or camcorder into a wireless video source that can be mixed with other live and pre-recorded material, all with refined cut and fade options.

It has an internal 3-hour battery. Connect a USB battery pack to continue streaming. It also has HDMI (micro HDMI connector) video inputs, a bit rate of 250 Kpbs to 4Mbps, and embedded audio output.

The Live:Air iPad Production Studio is a video production suite for iOS. (Live:Air is pronounced “Live to Air”.) It puts everything you need to see while doing an online broadcast at your fingertips and viewable on an iPad. You can add text overlays, visual effects, pre-recorded video clips, switch between multiple live video feeds, and more.

Live:Air can use live video from other iOS devices or you can start streaming with the iPad’s built-in camera. It is also possible to import live video from your GoPro, camcorder, or DSLR using any Wi-Fi enabled Teradek encoder.

The VidiU Pro gives you the freedom to broadcast live high definition video directly to the Web without a PC. It streams over dual band WiFi, Ethernet, or via a single 3G/4G USB modem. It has a rechargeable Li-Ion battery that lets you roam wirelessly for 60 minutes. VidiU offers a free application for iOS and Android that lets you monitor your live broadcast in real time.
