Accusonus, a leading provider of machine learning-based software products for audio repair and music production announced it has licensed its patented single-channel noise and reverb removal technology to Adobe.
The Accusonus audio repair algorithms enable high-quality audio enhancement within easy-to-use, fast and efficient workflows. The new technology will be incorporated into the next releases of Adobe Premier Pro CC, and Adobe Audition CC, both part of the Adobe Creative Cloud.
In addition to the noise and reverb removal technology in the upcoming releases of Adobe Premier Pro CC and Audition CC, Accusonus offers a suite of Enhancement and Repair of Audio (ERA) single-knob plugins and will soon be introducing two new offerings available for separate purchase: The ERA De-Clipper and ERA Voice Leveler.
With these new additions, the standard Accusonus ERA Bundle – which includes ERA Noise Remover, ERA Reverb Remover, ERA De-Esser, and ERA Plosive Remover – will total six plugins.
All Accusonus ERA plug-ins have been tested extensively and work seamlessly within Adobe Premier Pro CC and Adobe Audition CC. Each of these solves an important, common audio problem by offering high-quality processing in a streamlined workflow. The ERA Bundle Pro adds ERA-D, a joint de-noise and de-reverberation tool that offers a dual channel workflow and spectral band processing.
Acusonusus’ ERA Bundle plugins run on both Windows and Mac platforms.
PreSonus Audio Electronics has introduced the CDL-Series loudspeakers, the latest addition to the company’s line of innovative sound reinforcement designs.
The result of years of research and development, the CDL12 Constant Directivity Loudspeaker combines the best attributes of a point source and line array technology into a unique patent-pending design, with consistent SPL throughout the frequency response range, both on-and off-axix.
The companion subwoofer, the CDL18s, utilizes an innovative ported design that maximizes efficiency to create a big bass sound from a compact cabinet. Both Dante-enabled, powered enclosures can be flown as a vertical array, or combined for ground-stacked applications to create a complete, coherent loudspeaker system with an even response across the frequency spectrum.
Each CDL12 consists of eight 2-inch drivers aligned in a segmented circular-arc high-frequency array centered in front of the low-frequency driver travels from the same acoustic axis as the high-frequency array so that the pattern always radiates from the center of the CDL12- whether used individually, or as part of an acoustically coupled vertical array with up to six enclosures.
Because of this, the CDL12 avoids the near filed anomalies that can interfere with the sound quality of a traditional line array. This makes the CDL12 ideally suited for a broader range of venue sizes, creating a far-field response almost immediately as the sound is projected from the center of the enclosure.
The CDL18s features a unique port configuration that maximizes efficiency to create big bass sound from a compact cabinet. Each of the four triangle-shaped ports is places in a corner so that it couples to the cabinet, using the side walls to effectively elongate each port and allowing the CDL18s to move air in a compact enclosure.
Its custom 18-inch low-frequency transducer with 4-inch voice coil can travel 7 mm before over-excursion, and easily handles 800W, providing the articulate low-end punch audio professionals demand. The CDL18s and CDL12 form a unique loudspeaker system ideal for both portable PA and installed sound systems.
Canon has introduced the new PowerShot SX70 HS compact digital camera. Featuring a 65x Optical Zoom Lens (equivalent to 21-1365mm), 20.3 Megapixel CMOS imaging sensor and 4K video capabilities, the PowerShot SX70 HS camera is an ideal fit for anyone who wants powerful optical performance in a compact package.

This camera also features 4K video shooting and frame grabbing, and is the first Canon point-and-shoot camera comparable with the latest RAW format (CR3).
With the addition of a new eye sensor, the camera automatically switches to the EVF display simply by bringing the camera up to the eye. Additionally, the inclusion of built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology offers quick and easy sharing, making the switch from smartphone photography to the PowerShot SX70 HS camera simple and fun.
The DIGIC 8 processor enables the PowerShot SX70 HS camera to achieve five stops of IS with dual-sensing image stabilization (IS). Even during handheld shooting, IS allows users to take pictures with minimal worry about camera shake. The camera also features high-speed continuous shooting at up to 10 fps.
A Zoom Framing Assist button on the side of the barrel enables quick adjustments of the view angle, which is especially useful during telephoto shooting. With a large grip for comfortable, stable shooting and an EOS-like user interface, the PowerShot SX70 HS will make it easy for artistic vision to come to life in the hands of photographers at any level.
The PowerShot SX70 will be available for purchase in November 2018 for an estimated retail price of $549.99.
Taylor Guitars is doing a Fall for Ovangkol Giveaway. Now through November 2, 2018, someone will win a new 414ce acoustic-electric guitar featuring Taylor’s V-Class bracing.
One (1) winner from the U.S. and Canada and one (1) winner from the Netherlands, Germany, France, or the United Kingdom, will each receive a Taylor V-Class 414ce guitar, valued at an approximate retail value (ARV) of $2,399.99 (€2,054.69).
The 400 Series has always offered players reliable, professional-grade guitars with premium features and a workmanlike aesthetic. This year’s 414ce, a Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar, boasts a solid Sitka spruce top over back and sides of solid ovangkol, an African tonewood that is prized by Taylor Guitars for its sonic versatility and balance.
This particular tonewood combination produces a bright response with clear highs and a warm, resonant low end, with enough mid-range presence for a truly balanced sound across the frequency range.
The addition of V-Class bracing transforms the 414ce into a working musician’s dream – the new internal design provides stability along the center axis plus a flexible, orderly top vibration, producing greater volume and unmatched sustain. Even better: the new bracing helps resolve the clashing overtones that cause imperfect intonation in traditionally braced guitars, creating a perfectly tuneful experience all the way down the neck.
Visit the Taylor Guitars website for more details about their Fall Giveaway.

Yamaha brought new products and updated firmware at IBC 2018. Yamaha has a digital mixing solution suitable for every type of broadcast need, from the biggest event to the most compact studio or broadcast facility.
Yamaha’s RIVAGE PM10 and PM7 digital mixing systems have rapidly become the new byword for excellence in the large format market. The facilities, audio quality, high channel counts and ease of use are all proving a hit with engineers across the world. IBC sees the launch of updated firmware and two new interface cards for RIVAGE systems, which add features especially relevant to the broadcast market.
The HY128-MD is a 128-in/128-out interface which can be used to convert the output of a RIVAGE PM10 system to MADI, for transmission to a broadcast OB truck or to connect with a MADI-based mixing console, as well as providing asynchronous sample rate conversion for devices using different word clocks to be connected without noise and dropouts.
The HY144D-SRC supports up to 144 inputs/144 outputs via Dante with onboard sample rate conversion, adding convenience to systems where devices running at different sample rates need to be interconnected. Meanwhile, the latest Version 2.20 firmware supports both the new cards and adds several new features for PM7 and PM10 systems.
New Version 5.1 firmware update for Yamaha’s CL and QL series digital mixers directly supports the Sony DWR-R03D DWX digital receiver – used extensively in both broadcast and live production environments – significantly enhancing the value of existing and future CL/QL-based audio systems to broadcasters.
In addition, the latest firmware for all Yamaha digital mixers means that they now feature multiple channels of Dan Dugan automixing, making them the idea solution for all kinds of multi-microphone broadcast applications.
